A chaotic number cruncher with a love for big damage, optimized builds, and questionable ideas. Militis brings tactical thinking, unpredictable energy, and a surprising dose of common sense to the Court of Dorks table.
Militis — The Chaos Behind the Calculations
Meet Militis, a self-described “Chaotic ADHD Monkey” whose approach to tabletop gaming can be summed up in five glorious words: “Fuck it, let’s try it.”
A gamer, hands-on tinkerer, and enthusiastic number cruncher, Militis brings an unpredictable combination of chaotic energy, tactical thinking, and an almost suspicious appreciation for mathematics to the Court of Dorks table. He loves lore, he loves combat, and above all, he loves watching those beautiful, beautiful numbers climb. Whether he’s dishing out devastating damage or somehow surviving an absolutely ridiculous saving throw, there’s something deeply satisfying about watching the dice do their thing.
A proud power gamer and min-maxer, Militis enjoys squeezing every last advantage out of his characters. His favorite class is the Barbarian, because sometimes the best solution to a problem is hitting it really, really hard while being nearly impossible to kill. Big damage, impressive stats, and the ability to shrug off punishment? That’s his kind of character.
Despite describing himself as easily distracted, Militis brings an interesting contradiction to the party: when everyone else is considering a spectacularly terrible idea, he’s often the voice of reason. Of course, his personal philosophy of “Fuck it, let’s try it” suggests that even his reasonable side has limits.
In the weekly Tuesday adventure, Militis plays Rico, a Harengon rogue with a sharp mind, a steady shortbow, and a complicated relationship with morality and money. Part Sherlock Holmes, part Batman, Rico approaches investigations with the instincts of a detective and the determination of a vigilante. When combat begins, however, he trades detective work for the precision and ranged expertise of Hawkeye and Green Arrow. Driven by the promise of a payday but guided by a genuine desire to do what’s right, Rico walks the fine line between personal profit and doing the right thing.
In the monthly Sunday game, Militis steps into the role of Brix, a human whose strong religious convictions drive him to protect and save those in need. While Brix’s personality is still taking shape, his motivation is clear: helping others isn’t just something he does. It’s something he believes in.
Outside the game, Militis enjoys video games and working with his hands, bringing the same curiosity and enthusiasm for figuring things out that he brings to the tabletop.
Whether he’s optimizing a character build, lining up the perfect shot, getting distracted halfway through a plan, or reminding the party that their latest scheme might be a terrible idea, Militis proves that chaos and calculation aren’t mutually exclusive.
And if the dice start rolling particularly high? Well, that’s just a beautiful day.
