A bearded chaos gremlin, master of questionable decisions, and loyal friend. 211 brings mayhem to Court of Dorks whenever he's not contractually obligated to fight ninjas and cyborgs.
211 — The Bearded Chaos Gremlin
211 is a self-proclaimed bearded chaos gremlin whose approach to tabletop gaming combines storytelling, reckless gambling, questionable influence, and an unexpected talent for looking out for his fellow adventurers. He’s the kind of player who will enthusiastically encourage a terrible idea, help make it even worse, and somehow still be thinking three steps ahead about how to keep the party alive.
A longtime fan of tabletop RPGs and wargames like Warhammer 40,000, 211 was drawn to Dungeons & Dragons by the opportunity to create collaborative stories with friends. He’s particularly fond of bards, especially those focused on battlefield control, where creative roleplay and clever mechanics go hand in hand. For him, the best character builds aren’t necessarily the most powerful; they’re the ones that make sense for the character and create unforgettable moments.
Close Encounters of the Questionable Kind
And unforgettable moments are something he knows a thing or two about.
Take, for example, the time he convinced an unfortunate gnome that he was an alien conducting an abduction. The terrified little fellow believed he was experiencing a close encounter of the fourth kind.
In reality, 211’s bard just wanted some information about the local area.
Perfectly reasonable, right?
Meet Rhodvir Grogbeard
In Court of Dorks, 211 plays Rhodvir Grogbeard, a rough-and-rugged dwarven Monk/Barbarian with a heart of gold, fists ready for action, and an almost supernatural commitment to never being sober.
Rhodvir dreams of becoming the greatest brewer in history while someday achieving the rank of grandmaster within his order. He’s fiercely loyal, mentally resilient, and remarkably difficult to discourage, even when his own decisions make life considerably harder.
Rhodvir’s personal philosophy is simple:
“I’ll do anything at least once.”
Unfortunately for the party, 211 seems to share that philosophy.
Whether he’s spinning a bottle to determine which direction the party should explore, enthusiastically demanding that someone press the suspiciously large red button, or finding increasingly ridiculous solutions to otherwise straightforward problems, 211 thrives on the unpredictable.
A Man of Many Obligations (and Several Classified Contracts)
Now, attentive viewers may occasionally notice that 211 is mysteriously absent from an adventure.
Before the conspiracy theories begin, we’d like to assure everyone that there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation.
211 is contractually obligated to fight ninjas and cyborgs.
Yes, actual ninjas. And cyborgs.
Apparently, somewhere along the way, 211 entered into legally binding agreements requiring him to engage in periodic combat with highly trained shadow assassins and technologically enhanced killing machines.
Unfortunately, these obligations occasionally conflict with the Court of Dorks recording schedule.
We have attempted to negotiate more reasonable working hours, but the ninjas refuse to answer our correspondence, and the cyborgs keep responding in binary.
The details of these contracts remain classified, their origins are questionable, and we’re reasonably certain at least one involves a blood oath.
What we can confirm is that when 211 misses an episode, he’s not abandoning the party.
He’s simply fulfilling his contractual obligations to beat the absolute hell out of ninjas and cyborgs.
We appreciate your understanding during these unavoidable scheduling conflicts.
Chaos with a Heart of Gold
But beneath the drunken dwarf antics, questionable employment arrangements, and chaotic-good shenanigans is a player who genuinely cares about the people around him.
211 loves helping others, sharing advice from his own experiences, and creating moments where everyone at the table gets to have fun. He might be the first person to suggest an absolutely catastrophic course of action, but he’ll also be among the first to help his friends deal with the consequences.
For 211, Court of Dorks is about friendship, laughter, collaborative storytelling, and getting into spectacular trouble together.
And if there’s one thing he hopes viewers remember, it’s that even the biggest goofball at the table can still have the party’s back.
Assuming, of course, he isn’t currently engaged in a legally mandated deathmatch with a cybernetically enhanced ninja.
Just don’t let him near the big red button.
